Chief Warrant Officer 3, Active Duty, Cory Rudd​, Texas

Chief Warrant Officer 3 (CW3) Cory Rudd is a native Texan who enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1997 and has 18+ years of proven experience as an Army Fixed Wing Aviator and former infantryman. He served 5 years as an Infantryman until he was selected for Warrant Officer Candidate School (WOCS). After completing WOCS, CW3 Rudd has continued to serve his country both as a pilot in the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior and as a pilot in the DASH-7. He also served as Senior Technical Advisor involved in Crisis Management as well as planning overt and covert operations in support of global operations while assigned to the 3rd Military Intelligence Battalion, U.S. Army.

He has served in missions both overseas and on the Homefront in the name of National Security. CW3 Rudd has conducted over 750 security, surveillance and counter surveillance operations including combined Army, Marine Corps, and Air Force strike teams in a combat environment.

CW3 Rudd possesses a comprehensive background in Program/Contract Management, Surveillance, Security and Aviation Operations; derived from conducting domestic and global operations in Texas, Central America, Korea, Kuwait, and Iraq.

The native Texan has mentored and trained countless soldiers and Aviators in Close Combat Air Support and Personnel Recovery/Survival Operations. CW3 Rudd possesses extensive knowledge in Crisis and Contract Management.

CW3 earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts at Excelsior College in Albany, NY. His certifications include Government Contracting Officer Representative, Advance Antiterrorism Officer, Commercial Rotary Wing Aviator, Commercial Multi-Engine Fixed Wing Aviator, Personnel Recovery 301, Advanced Operations Security Officer, and Joint Fire Power Course.

CW3 Rudd's military awards include National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation (NSA), Air Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, and Order of Saint Michael.
